The whole tournament offers a unique experience as fans rally behind teams from their state, and truly immerse in the cricket experience. Here, we look to rank the 8 franchises currently playing in the IPL, according to their overall success, team strength and appeal.
Test cricket marks the beginning of cricket as a sport. When the first test match was played in 1877, nobody could have predicted that the game would attain this much fan-fare and popularity. Over the course of history, there have been many players who have left a mark of this great game with their skill, ability, talent and dedication. The following compilation is that of the Greatest Test Match Innings, in my opinion. Some were played out during my lifetime, while others I have only heard about or viewed the highlights of. Regardless, they have certainly resonated with the cricket-lovers across the globe, and impacted the way we view this format of the game.
Human beings love a good debate! Cricket fans are no different. They have always indulged in a perpetual debate to decide the supremacy of anything in world cricket. A debate that has consumed the cricketing world is the one regarding the title of "best batsman of the current generation". This eventually gave rise to the "Fab Four" of modern-day cricket. Here, I intend to put forward my opinion regarding the same, and try and offer my ranking of these brilliant individuals. India has many talented players. They currently sit comfortably at the top of the ICC rankings in Test Cricket, and 2nd in the ODI rankings list. India has been dominant in most of it's bilateral encounters, both home and away. Sadly, this team had no multi-lateral trophy to show for it's quality. Hence, I felt it necessary to analyse Team India's performances, more specifically, their 2019 World Cup campaign, to try and figure out the problem. Here goes nothing!
