Started in 2008, IPL has seen many franchises being set-up, named after popular Indian cities. The whole tournament offers a unique experience as fans rally behind teams from their state, and truly immerse in the cricket experience. Here, we look to rank the 8 franchises currently playing in the IPL, according to their overall success, team strength and appeal.
India has many talented players. They currently sit comfortably at the top of the ICC rankings in Test Cricket, and 2nd in the ODI rankings list. India has been dominant in most of it's bilateral encounters, both home and away. Sadly, this team had no multi-lateral trophy to show for it's quality. Hence, I felt it necessary to analyse Team India's performances, more specifically, their 2019 World Cup campaign, to try and figure out the problem. Here goes nothing!
